Engaging, Horse-Centered Learning for Homeschool Students in Cleveland, TN

At Georgetown Riding Academy, we are proud to offer two enriching programs designed specifically for homeschool families. Whether your child is interested in learning about horses from the ground up or wants to develop riding skills through structured lessons, our homeschool programs provide meaningful, hands-on learning in a safe and supportive environment.

With a focus on personal growth, responsibility, and connection with animals, our programs offer an ideal blend of education and experience for homeschool students.

Homeschool & Horses

Our Homeschool & Horses program is a four-week educational series designed for children ages 5–11. This program does not include riding, but instead focuses on foundational horsemanship through hands-on learning. Students participate in guided activities such as grooming, barn safety, horse care, and age-appropriate lessons that align with core educational themes.

Each class is held at our barn in Cleveland, TN and offers students a chance to learn, connect, and build confidence around horses—no previous experience required.

Fall 2025 Sessions

• Session 1: Thursdays in September

• Session 2: Wednesdays in October

• Session 3: Tuesdays in November

Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Cost: $100 per session (four classes)
Enrollment: Limited to 12 students per session

Homeschool Riding Lessons

For students who are ready to ride, our Homeschool Riding Lessons offer private, 30-minute sessions designed to build confidence, skill, and a strong foundation in horsemanship. Lessons are available for beginner through intermediate riders, with instruction tailored to each student’s individual goals and experience level.

These lessons are ideal for homeschool families seeking a regular weekly activity that promotes discipline, responsibility, and personal achievement—all while spending time with horses.

Availability: Wednesdays through Fridays 10am-2pm
Ages: 6 and up
Single Lesson $40 

Package of 4 Lessons $140 

Package of 6 Lessons $210
